Our Diehard Cider is made exclusively from a blend of Spitzenburg, WInesap, and Newtown Pippin apples. These apples are not your typical grocery store offerings. We choose to use these varietals because they are incredibly dense and flavorful. Cider makers covet these varietals and for good reason: they make better juice and better juice makes better cider. Incredible acid-sugar balance makes this a very rare cider. A hint of residual sugar allows for a true apple mouth-feel.
